Khan graduated from AUT University Podiatry school in 2017. Prior to joining Podiatry school, he finished his Certificate in Fitness Instruction from AUT. He enjoys working with all sorts of podiatry work but has a special interest in treating and managing the diabetic foot.
He voluntarily attends the Foot Ulcer Clinic, Manukau Super Clinic as an observer under the supervision of senior diabetes podiatrists.
He was awarded an AUT Joe Spring award in 2016 for orthotic therapy.
Khan has a keen interest in Musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries augmented by his background as a fitness instructor. He also enjoys minor surgery and wound care.
He also is committed to further education and an evidence-based patient care approach for optimal outcomes.
Outside work, Khan loves to go to the gym and keeps updated with the latest research trends in foot & ankle disorders and takes every opportunity to attend seminars and conferences to expand his knowledge base.
Currently, Khan is enrolled in a Certificate of Sports Massage. So any aches and pains can be treated with his new found skills. Khan started at Speights Podiatry in early 2018 and look forward to caring for your foot problems.
