Podiatry is predominantly a service based experience where any foot accessories are manufactured or sold to suit the presenting foot problem. The only item this does not apply to are insoles (sometimes called orthotics or orthoses).
Speight's podiatry retails some types of off the shelf orthotics directly over the counter however this does not include a consultation and the service that accompanies a consultation.
Custom made orthotics by there very nature are not sold over the counter but are included in the consultation fee. Included in the fee is a progress check to gain feedback. If necessary adjustments can be undertaken.
Orthotics are always dispensed in pairs.
