Infections - Fungal, of toenail

The most common being Athletes Foot.  When you have this problem the appearance of the nails usually change. The nails can become   thickened crumbly and discoloured.  The nail can lift off the nail bed. They may also get thicker and smell musty.   Sometimes the nail looks OK except for the presence of a white powdery matter on the top of the nail only.
